(Lodi, N.J. – June 25, 2026) – Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) advises customers that the Borough of Lodi will begin conducting hydrant inspections throughout the borough on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Inspections will take place Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and are expected to continue for approximately three weeks.
During the inspection process, residents may experience temporary changes in water pressure or brief periods of water discoloration as hydrants are tested. If discoloration occurs, customers are advised to run cold water from a faucet until the water runs clear.
These inspections help ensure hydrants remain in proper working condition and are available for fire protection purposes.
PVWC appreciates the public's patience and cooperation while this important work is completed. For questions, please contact PVWC Customer Service at 973-340-4300 (Option 2) or visit PVWC.com.
