Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for Portions of Clifton & Passaic

Due to ongoing repairs on a 42-inch water main that connects to a 51-inch water main located on Chittenden Road in Clifton, the precautionary boil water advisory has been expanded to approximately 25,000 to 30,000 customers in Clifton and Passaic.
The advisory is effective immediately and will remain in place until water quality testing is completed and confirms that the water is safe to drink
